You dont have to know every little detail, or any details at all. I just had a feeling the kid wasn't very good at all.

can there be a leader who dosent just use 2 types of pkmn?

Those are elite four, but if you pick two types such as say...Grass and Water, you can use things like Venesaur,Swampert, Torterra,Relicanth,Leafeon, etc.
